Xavier Lechien (President)
Xavier is currently Director of the Local Development Agency of Durbuy. This structure helps the local municipality to strengthen its sustainable economy. He is one of the founder of the AISBL. He is the representative of Durbuy, winner 2007.
Helga Bauer (Vice-president)
She lives in Styria and represent LANDLUST, runners up of Eden Award 2011. She worked many years in Poland – first at the Trade Commissioner’s office at the Austrian Embassy and later as Director of the Austrian National Tourist Board’s Office. After returning to Austria she worked in tourism marketing at different organisations. Right now she is retired.
He has been growing up in Soomaa national park, Estonia. He runs a small local travel company www.soomaa.com. He is also an active member of Estonian Ecotourism Association and PhD student at Estonian University of Life Sciences.
Antje Enke is living in the northeast of Germany. She has studied journalism and PR and have worked over ten years as a journalist with a newspaper. Since 2007 she is a freelancer in public relations and press-campaigns for tourism companies in her EDEN Destination Western Pomerian River District.
Cillian Murphy is from Kilkee on the Loop Head Peninsula, County Clare, Ireland. Along with his wife Mary they owned the award winning Murphy Blacks Restaurant. He is also a co-founder and current chairperson of Loop Head Tourism, a voluntary community based group who have lead the charge in responsible tourism development at destination level in Ireland. Loves to swim, bike and run. Currently studying for a Masters in Responsible Tourism with Prof Harold Goodwin at Manchester Metropolitan University.
He is living in Kuldiga, Latvia. He is a Tourism Manager and Photographer too. Since 2001, Chairman of Regional Tourism Association of West Latvia. He represents Kuldiga (winning destination EDEN 2007) in the assembly of the network Eden.
